On the 18th of November, we left Vienna for a teambuilding trip to Bratislava. In the morning 13 SIMCies went to the Slovakian capital not only to discover the city and particularly its old town, but also to experience the Slovakian cuisine and drinking culture. After an hour of strolling through the city, we went to a typical Slov
akian restaurant for lunch, which was recommended by Miroslav. Since he lives in Bratislava, he didn´t disappoint us with his local knowledge. After lunch, we had to do some activities, because everyone had an overdose of sheep cheese from the heavy meal. Therefore, we did a scavenger hunt through the old town. We split up in three teams to solve the exciting puzzles in the city. This competition was definitely an interesting and fun way to explore a foreign city. After that, we went to a chocolate café and a bar where they also offered decent craft beer. In the evening, more SIMCies joined us, where we then went to another restaurant, which is famous for having the best spare ribs in town. With the perfect nutrition, the party could get started! To get into the right mood, we went for cheap drinks (Gin Tonic 2 €, Mojito 3 €) before we headed to a Club, where we danced to Cuba rhythms until the early morning hours. In the morning, we took back the first train to Vienna. Then, everyone was already looking forward to his/her bed after an awesome, but also exhausting trip.
